1. Steamed Dishes (e.g., Steamed Fish Head/Pork Ribs): Wash the fish head or pork ribs and arrange them on a plate. Evenly spread 2-3 spoons of this fermented soybean over the ingredients. Place the plate in a steamer after the water boils and steam over medium heat for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
2. Stir-Fried Dishes: Heat proper vegetable oil in a pot, add 1 spoon of this fermented soybean and saute over low heat until fragrant. Add meat (e.g.,chicken or pork) and stir-fry over high heat for 3-5 minutes. This method also works for vegetables: simply add this fermented soybean during stir-frying for an enhanced flavor.
